The gear seems nice enough, but for what I paid, I expected a lot more. It doesn’t really feel worth the price to me, and I’m disappointed. I’d hope the company would make this right somehow, whether that’s a partial refund, credit, or some kind of compensation.

I ordered from castelli-cycling the delivery was way slower than I expected. I kept checking the tracking, which barely seemed to move, and there wasn’t much clear info along the way either. The gear itself might be totally fine, but the shipping experience was frustrating. I definitely wouldn’t order again if I needed something anytime soon

I sized up twice and it was still way too tight. At this point I’m just tired of going through the whole return/exchange process and dealing with customer service again. I really wanted this to work, but the fit is just off...

I bought a summer jersey from castelli-cycling.com, i was disappointed!!! It felt way too hot once I got moving. After about 20 minutes on the bike, I was already soaked, and the fabric seemed to just hold onto the sweat instead of helping me stay cool!!! The fit was okay, so no major complaints there, but the breathability was really poor. For the price, I expected a lot better!!! Maybe it would be fine for cooler days, but for warm rides, it was just uncomfortable. I wouldn’t buy it again!!!

"Didn’t Hold Up in the Rain"
I wore this jacket out in the rain and it ended up soaking through quickly. The wind still got in too, so it didn’t really keep me warm or dry like I expected. I was also hoping for a faster response when I reached out about it. Overall, disappointed

I didn’t get any real help. I kept having to explain the same issue over and over, which got frustrating, and it still didn’t lead anywhere. Felt like nobody was actually listening

"Got hit with customs fees after paying"
I ordered from Castelli because the total at checkout looked like the final price. If there was a warning about duties or customs fees, it definitely wasn’t clear enough for me to catch.
Then the courier contacted me asking for more money before they would deliver the package. That made the order a lot more expensive than I expected, and it was really frustrating because my basic expectation was just to know the full cost before paying.
When I reached out to customer service, they basically just pointed me to the terms and conditions. That didn’t solve anything or make it feel fair. They really need to be upfront about extra charges before checkout, because I wouldn’t order again after this...

I tried to return an item it was more hassle than it should’ve been. The instructions weren’t very clear, it took ages to get sorted, and I still had to follow up myself... Not really what I expected from a cycling brand like this.

"Fewer options than I expected"
I went in thinking there’d be a solid selection, but compared to other cycling brands I’ve shopped with, it felt a bit limited. A lot of the items looked really similar, and a few of the sizes and colors I wanted weren’t available. For a brand that’s supposed to be all about cycling, I expected more variety. I ended up leaving without buying anything.

"Not as comfortable as I expected"
So... I picked up a Castelli bib and jersey thinking it would be a solid upgrade, but it just didn’t work for me. The bib pad started feeling stiff and uncomfortable after about 30 minutes, and the seams were rubbing on my legs quickly. The jersey was tight too, but not in that normal “race fit” kind of way, it felt awkward in a few spots. I’m sure it might be great for some riders, but for the price, I was disappointed. I couldn’t wait to get home and take it off.

"The whole experience left a bad taste..."
The whole experience left a bad taste. It felt a bit like a bait and switch — everything seemed fine at first, but once I needed help, it was like nobody cared. Customer service took forever to get back to me, and when they finally did, their reply made it seem like they hadn’t even read what I wrote. My issue still isn’t fixed, and I’m just frustrated at this point.

"Stylish at first, frustrating to use"
I wanted to like the site because it does look slick at first glance, but the design started getting on my nerves after a couple minutes. There’s so much black and red everywhere, plus all the busy product photos, that browsing feels kind of exhausting. I also didn’t find the sizing or categories very clear, which made it harder than it should be to find what I needed. I asked support about it and they basically said something like, “you can use the filters to narrow things down,” but that doesn’t really fix the overall layout. For such a big cycling brand, I expected the site to feel a lot more user-friendly.

"Didn’t feel as aero as I expected"
I tried this kit on a few faster rides and didn’t feel any quicker in it. If anything, it felt a little draggy compared to what I was hoping for, especially at this price. I expected a much cleaner aero fit. I also reached out to support and ended up stuck in that annoying loop where they kept asking for the same details instead of really helping, which made the whole thing more frustrating

"I’m disappointed with these Castelli bib…"
I’m disappointed with these Castelli bib shorts. After just a few rides, the stitching started coming apart and the fabric already looks way more worn than it should. I’ve been washing them carefully and never put them in the dryer, so I really don’t know why they fell apart so fast. For the price, I expected a lot better. I also tried reaching out for help and just kept getting transferred around, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. Definitely won’t be buying these again.

I was hoping these would make me feel a bit safer riding in the evening, but the reflective parts barely showed up once it got dark. I felt a little uneasy using them at night. Has anyone else had the same issue?

I’m still waiting on my refund, and the whole thing has been a hassle. No one seems to know who actually owns the issue, so I keep getting passed around without a clear answer. It’s frustrating because I just want to know when I’m getting my money back

"Pockets are way too hard to use"
I bought this jersey hoping it would be solid for longer rides, but the back pockets are a pain to reach while I'm on the bike. They feel like they sit too high or too tight, and I actually had to stop just to get a gel out, which got annoying fast. Maybe it works better for someone with a different fit, but it just didn't work for me. Also, it's kind of unclear who actually owns the design or the issue here, the brand, the manufacturer, whoever—so I don't even know who to blame or contact about it. For the price, I expected a lot better.

"Way too fussy to wash"
I picked up a Castelli jersey and bibs, dealing with the washing instructions has been such a hassle. It’s all cold wash, gentle cycle, no dryer, don’t do this, don’t do that, basically every cycling kit seems like it needs to be treated like a priceless museum piece.
After just a few washes, it already started looking a bit worn out, which was disappointing for the price. I ride a lot, and I really don’t want to plan my whole laundry day around one outfit. Probably won’t buy this stuff again.
